Urban Design In India — Networking Dinner

CEPT Research & Development Foundation is to organise a conference on the theme of Urban Design in India.

India is one of the fastest urbanising countries in the world, with over 34% of its population living in urban areas. Like many urbanised countries, India’s urbanisation can create significant opportunities for economic growth, employment, infrastructure development, innovation, and cultural exchange. However, it also poses several challenges, such as urban poverty, inequality, congestion, and environmental degradation. Therefore, it is essential to have well-planned and sustainable urbanisation that addresses these challenges while leveraging the opportunities.
